CADC is a tokenized Canadian Dollar stablecoin fully backed by reserved assets, and redeemable on a 1:1 basis for the Canadian dollar. For each CADC minted, we store 1 Canadian Dollar in a dedicated and segregated account with a fully regulated tier-1 Canadian bank. When redeeming CADC to Canadian Dollars, the CADC is burned and removed from the total supply. Mint your first CADC here today.

Trust and Transparency

Each CADC token is backed 1:1 with Canadian Dollars held in PayTrie’s reserves. All the funds are safeguarded in a segregated account with a fully regulated tier-1 Canadian bank. Every month, the Canadian dollar reserves for CADC are attested to by our banking partner. We will publish these reports so that you can be confident that CADC is always redeemable for Canadian dollars.

Technical Bits

CADC is built on Ethereum and follows the ERC-20 token standard, using the same audited open source code as CENTRE’s USDC. This means CADC is compatible and interoperable with the entire DeFi ecosystem.

The CADC token address is 0xcadc0acd4b445166f12d2c07eac6e2544fbe2eef.
