PayTrie to donate 100% of fees + gas fees sent to Ukraine 🇺🇦

Canadians are in shock as war ravages on in Ukraine. Many of us at PayTrie have struggled with how to best approach this situation and how to best support Ukrainians during this difficult time.

When the official Twitter account of Ukraine tweeted that they are now accepting cryptocurrency donations, we knew this was our chance to help.

Sending donations through traditional payment rails to Ukraine has many unknowns. Will the donations make it to the Ukrainians? Will the Ukrainians be able to utilize the funds given the banking situation? Will the funds get to the Ukrainians in time to make a difference?

By sending cryptocurrency, we know the funds will be immediately available to those in need.

Starting now, 100% of fees + gas fees from transfers sent to the designated wallet will be retroactively matched by PayTrie and donated to the same wallet on a weekly basis. That means you can now donate to Ukraine using Interac e-transfers, and know that 100% of your proceeds to go the people.
