Buy and Sell USDC on Base Network With PayTrie!

We’ve recently launched Base network on PayTrue, allowing users to purchase USDC on Base.

Base was announced in the beginning of 2023 and there are already dozens of dApps on it, with more to come.

What is Base?

Base is built on Optimism’s OP stack to remain permissionless, decentralized, and open to everyone. It’s an L2 network meant to be secure, low-cost, and developer-friendly to build dApps on-chain. Working with OP Labs and the Optimism Collective, Base has a goal of a “superchain”, where other L2s will eventually increase interoperability and jointly scale Ethereum, creating an ecosystem on a single chain.

In addition to being an open ecosystem, Base will also be home to Coinbase’s on-chain products. For developers, they can utilize Coinbase’s products and tools for seamless integration with Coinbase. Base is also designed to serve as a bridge for all users into the wider world of crypto through an easy-to-use onchain experience with access to other chains.

How to buy USDC on Base

To purchase USDC on Base with PayTrie, select “USDC-BASE” on www.paytrie.com. Enter the amount you’d like to purchase, follow the instructions, and stablecoins will be sent to your wallet!

How to Sell USDC on Base

Good news! Users are now able to off-ramp their USDC-BASE for CAD. On www.paytrie.com, make sure “USDC-BASE” is on top, while “CAD” is on the bottom (see image below). Then enter the amount you’d like to sell, follow instructions to send USDC-BASE to PayTrie’s wallet address, and you’ll receive an Interac eTransfer.
