There have been quite a few requests for Optimism and we’re happy to deliver. This Ethereum scaling solution will give our users a break from the high gas fees on Ethereum mainnet, and will complete transactions much faster with near-instant transaction finality.

How Does The Fee Incentive Work?

PayTrie users who on-ramp to Optimism will receive a 0.6% fee incentive in OP tokens according to the volume that they’ve on-ramped. The OP tokens will be automatically sent to users’ wallets at the end of the week. This is for a limited time only — 20,000 OP tokens will be available for this fee incentive.

Fee Incentive Calculation

Suppose you bought $1000 CAD worth of USDC-OP throughout the week. At the end of the week, PayTrie will be sending you $1000 x 0.6% = $6 CAD worth of OP tokens into your wallet as part of the fee incentive program. This effectively brings your fees to $0 to on-ramp onto Optimism!
