Guerrilla Games’ Horizon Zero Dawn is one of the most acclaimed and top-selling PlayStation 4 titles. Running on the Decima Engine, the action-adventure game stood tall as one of the best-looking titles to appear in this console generation.

Like the Decima Engine-powered Death Stranding, Horizon Zero Dawn is now making its way to PC, giving the game the chance to stretch its graphical wings in even greater fashion. So, the question must be asked: Can your PC handle Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition?

Why the Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition Hype?

Horizon Zero Dawn takes place in a distant future where humanity has reverted to a Stone Age existence. The big twist is that instead of hunting and defending against dangerous fauna, humans must contend with massive animal-like robots. As the protagonist, Aloy, you travel across the lush and varied world trying to uncover how humanity fell to its current state. You must also stop a threat that could spell doom for what’s left of society.

Those familiar with open-world games, such as Far Cry or the recent Assassin’s Creed title, will feel at home with this PC game. There is a wide assortment of main missions, side quests, and collectibles scattered across the map. As you progress, you’ll find and craft new and better hunting equipment. You’ll also forge alliances with the disparate tribes, and get a sense you’re making positive changes to the world. More importantly, you’ll engage in thrilling battles against gargantuan robotic animals that put all of your skills to the test.

Developer Guerrilla Games rewards PC gamers who patiently waited three years for this port by including the Frozen Wilds DLC. Hence, the “Complete Edition” designation.
