Google’s Chrome 85 rolls out today with a number of tab-related improvements and the ability to fill out PDFs within the browser.

Tabs are set to load up to 10 percent faster, according to Google. And when they do, tab grouping will make it easier to keep track of everything on your to-do list. Group tabs by priority, subject, or task, and collapse or expand each tab group as you work.

Tab suggestions, meanwhile are now on Android. When you begin to type a page title in the address bar, you’ll easily be able to navigate to that page. This feature is based on auto-fill, and has been around for Chrome desktop users for a while.

Chrome Beta is debuting a tab preview function to help you find your tab faster. Anyone who’s had 20 Google Docs tabs open that all look the same knows the struggle. With preview, you hover over a tab to see a thumbnail page preview, and then select the tab you want.

Finally, the increase in remote work means paperwork has made the move to digital. Chrome previously did not allow much freedom when it came to manipulating PDFs. Now you can fill out PDFs and save the new versions from Chrome. When you open the file again, you can start up where you left off.
