WarnerMedia joins the streaming wars on May 27 with the launch of HBO Max.

Priced at $14.99 a month, it will be one of the more expensive video-streaming services out there, though it includes access to more than just HBO, which already runs $14.99 per month. And if you pre-order now, you can get HBO Max for $11.99 per month for 12 months. HBO Now subscribers will also get HBO Max access at no extra cost, as will HBO GO subscribers who get HBO via AT&T TV, DirecTV, AT&T U-Verse, Hulu, or Spectrum.

Similar to Disney+, HBO Max is a conglomeration of AT&T’s major media assets. By combining HBO with the deep library of Warner Bros., and making a few key acquisitions, HBO Max promises 10,000 hours of content at launch, including a healthy selection of original programming within the first few months of launch.

All told, the service will feature content from Adult Swim, Cartoon Network, CNN, The CW, DC Entertainment, New Line Cinema, TBS, TNT, TruTV, and Turn Classic Movies. Additionally, content from BBC, the Criterion Collection, Crunchyroll, Rooster Teeth, and Studio Ghibli will also be available to stream. Here’s what will be available on HBO Max at launch and this summer.

Love Life

Debuting at launch, Love Life is a romantic comedy anthology series with each episode focusing on a new character and story. Anna Kendrick serves as executive producer and stars in the first episode

Looney Tunes Cartoons

At launch, Warner Bros. Animation will provide HBO Max with Looney Tunes Cartoons, a brand-new collection of animated shorts featuring Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, and more in an animation style reminiscent of the classic cartoons.

Adventure Time: Distant Lands- BMO

Adventure Time returns on June 25 with the first of four hour-long specials that focus on the supporting characters of the original show. The first of these specials focuses on BMO, who must travel to outer space and save the galaxy.

Doom Patrol

Also on June 25, Doom Patrol returns for a second season on HBO Max. Conceived for DC Entertainment’s DC Universe streaming platform, the show was so well-received that WarnerMedia decided to air it simultaneously on both platforms.

The series follows the eponymous Doom Patrol, a collection of super-powered freaks and misfits who try to save the day while taking care of each other. The impressive cast includes Timothy Dalton, Brendan Fraser, and Matt Bomer

Search Party

Initially airing on TBS for the two seasons, Search Party has been moved to HBO Max just in time for the June 25 debut of season three. The show focuses on a group of friends in New York City who investigate the disappearance of an acquaintance.
