This weekend has a little bit of everything. Action, drama, horror and a comedic girls’ trip to Florida. Although that last one might count as horror, too.

The content pie is vast and infinite, and you’ve got the whole weekend to decide how you want to slice it. We’re in the midst of the ever-intensifying streaming wars, and there are too many shows and movies to choose from, spread across too many video-streaming services. So we’re making it easier for you. Each week, the PCMag features team takes turns highlighting the streaming content they’re excited to watch or think you should binge. Fire up your media-streaming device of choice, and get watching.

Black Widow (Disney+ Premier Access and In theaters)

Since Kevin Fiege first announced plans for this standalone film in 2010, Marvel Studios’ Black Widow finally hits the screen 11 years later. In the second-ever female-led film in the MCU, our ex-KGB Avenger is on the run after the events of Captain America: Civil War. Like Cruella, Black Widow debuts as a Premier Access movie on Disney+, meaning you’ll have to pay an extra $29.99 to watch it on July 9. (Eventually, it’ll be available to stream without that fee, but probably not for a few months.)

Gossip Girl (HBO Max)

Nine years after the end of its predecessor, your one and only peek into the scandalous lives of Manhattan’s elite makes its return on HBO Max. The new Gossip Girl reboot/sequel series follows a new generation of spoiled New York City private school teens under the watchful eye of Gossip Girl. xoxo

Fear Street Part 2: 1978 (Netflix)

The second entry in the Fear Street Trilogy, 1978 takes place 16 years before the first installment as a killer terrorizes a summer camp in the cursed town of Shadyside, Ohio. Part 1, 1994, is also streaming on Netflix.

The One and Only Dick Gregory (Showtime)

It’s hard to sum up in two to three sentences how impressively impactful Dick Gregory really is to me and other Black Americans. His stand-up career is enough to be its own film, but so is his work as a civil rights activist running across America before Forrest Gump made it popular. The One and Only Dick Gregory streams on Showtime this weekend.

Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness (Netflix)

The highly popular survival-horror franchise is back once again with Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness. Set between Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5, fan-favorite protagonist Leon S. Kennedy handles a new zombie threat in the White House. Infinite Darkness will be a quick and easy watch as there are only four episodes, each lasting around 25–30 minutes each.

Barb and Star Go To Vista Del Mar (Hulu)

Barb and Star Go To Vista Del Mar saw a video-on-demand release back in February, but this underappreciated comedy banger finally hits streaming this weekend. Barb and Star leave their small Midwestern town for the first time to go on vacation in Vista Del Mar, Florida, where they find adventure, love, and a madman hell-bent on destroying the town. You know, normal Florida things.
