The content pile is vast and infinite, and you’ve got the whole weekend to decide how you want to slice it. We’re in the midst of the ever-intensifying streaming wars, and there are too many shows and movies to choose from, spread across too many video-streaming services. So we’re making it easier for you. Each week, the PCMag features team takes turns highlighting the streaming content they’re excited to watch or think you should binge. Fire up your media-streaming device of choice, and get watching.

The Mitchells vs. The Machines (Netflix)

Humans may or may not have to answer to AI overlords in the future. For the Mitchells, that day is now. While the family is driving across the country to drop their oldest child at film school, a robot revolution threatens them and everyone else. This animated film features a long list of stars including Abbi Jacobson, Danny McBride, and Eric Andre.

Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse (Prime Video)

There are two main selling points to Without Remorse: Tom Clancy and Michael B. Jordan. You possibly do not need more than one reason to watch, but if you want to know a bit about the plot: a Navy SEAL is bent on revenge after his pregnant wife is killed during an attempt on his own life. An international conspiracy is involved (surprise).

The Mosquito Coast (Apple TV+)

You may have read the book by Paul Theroux or seen the movie starring Harrison Ford, but this version of The Mosquito Coast has a new dimension. The series is still the story of a man and his family who flee the US for Mexico, but this time it’s produced by and stars Justin Theroux, the nephew of the author, who is playing a lightly fictionalized version of his own grandfather.

Yasuke: Season 1 (Netflix)

“Based on a true story” isn’t always a thing you’re used to hearing about anime, but with Yasuke, it’s the real deal. LaKeith Stanfield plays the title character, who was the first Black samurai in feudal Japan. There is a significant departure from the original story, with magic and mech playing a big role, but that’s pretty much as you’d expect.

The Handmaid’s Tale: Season 4 (Hulu)

We’re not going to put any spoilers here, but after a season three cliffhangers, The Handmaid’s Tale survived. The show is back to streaming after a nearly two-year hiatus and a lot of things have changed since — in Gilead and in the real world.

Headspace Guide to Sleep (Netflix)

How have you been sleeping lately? Same here. So join us and watch Headspace Guide to Sleep, the second series from the Headspace app. Each episode delves into why you may be having trouble with your sleep and ends with an exercise to overcome it.
