Pdot’s underlying prediction markets ending December 31, 2018 have expired. This means that each index resolved to reality, and the portfolios have been rolled into new markets expiring March 31, 2019.
· The LeBron James Index (P.LBJ) finished the quarter up 5%
· The Ariana Grande Index (P.ARI) finished the quarter up 41%
· The Donald Trump Index (P.TRUMP) finished the quarter down 29%
The new markets were selected based on Pdot’s methodology for index construction. For more information, you can read our How it Works section.
When it comes to creating indexes for individual people, there will always be a debate as to “what defines success?”. The goal of Pdot is not to answer this question, but rather to provide a trusted set of parameters (KPIs, expected values, volatility ranges) that allow people to track, analyze, and speculate on people.
