The legendary North Malian group Super 11 brought their nostalgic sounds from the desert to Sikasso. Their music is called Takamba, little known abroad, it has a long tradition in Mali. With their calabashes and ngonis (3 string lute) they take us to a walk through sand and and heat, moving gently and gracefully their Tekatkat (wide cloths) in a trance like rhythm… a unique experience to get closer to the soul of Mali.
