From the 18th to 25th of April, Amsterdam became a hub for crypto projects from all over the world. During this period, the large-scale Amsterdam conference took place. It is arguably the biggest conference of 2022 and has become a great opportunity for many crypto project teams to talk about their decisions and share their views on the future of the crypto industry.

Having a wealth of experience of participating in conferences, the Peanut team decided to prepare a separate event within the DevConnect Conference in Amsterdam called «How to DEX» and involved as many DeFi experts as possible within the stipulated period.

In the DeFi space, Peanut has already established itself as an innovative product, and we want to share our experience with Blockchain enthusiasts. Not only have we done a great job, we have also chosen the best venue — Vondelchurch (Vondel Church), as the meeting place for crypto-evangelists.

At the end of the 19th century and until the middle of the 20th century, Catholic worship was held in the Vondelchurch. This iconic place is great for perceiving and sharing information from a clear perspective.

More than 50 experts in cryptocurrency, blockchain companies, and organizations from all over the world have gathered at the «How to DEX» Conference in Amsterdam with a total number of 200 visitors.

We have been able to bring to the lineup; cutting-edge DeFi experts like Eyal Markovich (Co-founder & COO of BloXroute), Sergej Kunz (Co-founder of 1inch Network), Bogdan Habic (Co-founder & CTO of Tenderly), as well as a host of other industry enthusiasts.

On the 21st of April, the pioneering Peanut Trade project attended the Blockchain Conference «How to DEX» in Amsterdam as a title sponsor in cooperation with 1inch Network and Certik.

The Peanut team had the opportunity to meet numerous DeFi experts, TradFi experts, partners, and various investors at the event. Among the attendees that the Peanut team had the pleasure of meeting were Anton Bukov and Sergej Kunz (the Co-founders of 1inch Network), Connie Lam (the Head of Shield Certik), and a number of other prominent blockchain industry participants from Zerion, 0x Labs, dYdX Foundation, Gelato Network, Quantstamp, Oasis.app, CoW Protocol (Gnosis), AroundB, DeGate DAO, Velvet Formula, Nervos Network, SingularityDAO, Eight, Keyrock, Starkware, Swap.Finance, and Harmony.

At the Conference, our CTO — Anatolii Padenko, spoke about the alternative point of view on Uni v3 fees distribution and how to use it for market making. He also shared his vision as one of the panelists on why the mempool is so important for DEX traders.

During the other panel discussion titled “what’s the difference between CEX and DEX and what are the risks”, fruitful talks were also held. The representatives from dYdX Foundation, DeGate, Zerion, Nervos Network, and Eight, shared their experience and solutions to certain pain points as the day ended with the afterparty attended by Peanut Trade.

The projects discussed the aspects of DEXs, as well as the current conditions of the market, the differences of processes in DEXs, CEXs, and expectations for market prospects.
