Who will be eligible to receive airdrops?
First of all, REMChain Guardians. Here you may find out, or recall, who are the Guardians.
Secondly, hodlers of ERC20 REM token, who have more than 50K REM in a wallet address, including addresses of Liquidity Providers for REM trading pairs on DEXes — particularly on Uniswap.
In order to determine the addresses that are legitimate for airdrops, on the November 30 we made a snapshot:
- to confirm the addresses of all Guardians;
- to remove all addresses with less than 50K ERC20 REM tokens.
According to these snapshots, the total number of addresses that are eligible for airdrops stands at 1,050 and 87 Guardians.
What is the procedure for airdrop calculation?
Totally, 6,000,000 NUX will be airdropped:
- 2,000,000 NUX for ERC20 REM hodlers;
- 4,000,000 NUX for REMChain Guardians.
But airdrops won’t be distributed all at once. They will be divided into 25 equal parts and will be distributed on a monthly basis. In general, every eligible account will get 4% airdropped monthly.
Also, airdropped tokens won’t be distributed automatically, except for the Guardians. REM hodlers will need to claim due NUX tokens on the Peanut website, just as it was with UNI. That’s easy — just a few clicks and tokens will be in your pocket (sorry, wallet). The timeframe for claiming tokens is 10 days: from the 1st till 10th of each month.
Should you miss the chance to claim tokens during any specific period, they will not roll over into the next one. Instead, these tokens will go to the NUX liquidity pools on DEXes. Next time just try not to be late!
Is it necessary to continue hodling REM in my address to receive airdrops?
Yes. Airdrops will be distributed only to those addresses that are eligible, and in which a certain amount of REM is kept during the whole period of airdrop distribution.
Initially, to get the first batch of airdropped NUX, the balance of REM tokens in the address must be no less than it was at the point of the snapshot (30.11.2020). For the next airdrops, the amount of REM can be reduced by 4% of the initial amount. Should it be reduced by more than 4%, airdrops for this specific period will be reduced correspondingly. Confused? Let’s see an example.
E X A M P L E
Hodler had 1,000,000 ERC20 REM tokens in his address at the moment of the snapshot. According to the airdrop distribution model, his total airdrop will be 10,000 NUX, or 400 NUX/monthly.
After the first month he will get 400 NUX. To get the next batch of airdrop, the balance of REM in his address can be reduced by 4% of the initial amount (40,000 REM). If he has 960,000 REM in his address after the second month, he will get his portion of NUX, and so on, and so on.
But if he withdraws from this address more than 4% of the initial amount of REM, say, 60,000 REM, the amount of distributed NUX tokens will be reduced according to the following formula:
Distributed NUX = (Actual REM Balance * Obligatory NUX) / Required REM Balance.
(940,000 REM * 400 NUX) / 960,000 REM = 3,916 NUX in the case where the average REM balance during the second month was less than the required amount.
But he will be able to get NUX in the next batches.
It works the same for addresses with the minimum amount of REM (50,000), that was needed to get the airdrop.
Balances of REM in addresses from the airdrop list will be monitored permanently during the entire period of airdrop distribution. Each month the average balance of REM in the address will be calculated. To do this we will make random snapshots of balances every day. So, increasing the balance only on the eve of the next batch of distribution won’t work.
Increasing the balance of REM tokens in ERC20 addresses won’t have an impact on the amount of airdropped NUX. It will have an impact only in case of decreasing the balance.
Instead of ERC20 REM hodler addresses, Guardians will get airdrops automatically. But Guardians need to remain Guardians for the whole period of airdrop distribution. If tokens were unstaked, the Guardian loses their privilege to get the remaining NUX airdrops, and these tokens will be distributed among other Guardians.
What about Bonuses?
1,000,000 NUX are locked for bonuses. Everyone can get part of them. You just need to protect the Cryptoverse from invaders. We are not joking! You’ll need to play a remastered old-school game “Galaxian.” We’re sure that many of you have spent hours in front of 8-bit consoles destroying evil aliens. So now your skills will come in handy!
It’s simple. You get points for shooting invaders. At the end of the game your points are converted to the bonus, which you can get during the public sale — additionally to purchased tokens. One bonus for one purchase. The amount of bonus will be different — it will depend on the number of points you get during the game.
You may play several times and choose the best results, which guarantee you the biggest bonus.
The only limit is that the amount of bonus tokens can’t exceed 30% of purchased tokens. For instance, after the game your bonus is 100 NUX. You need to purchase no less than 333 NUX in order to get it fully. If you buy less, say 100 NUX, your bonus will only be 30 NUX.
