SaaS Capital has published a report that’s a good read for any B2B SaaS startups. Based on a survey of 700 SaaS companies, the report sets out to show what “good” looks like.

Key takeaways from the report are:

  1. Gross retention is the cleanest measurement of actual underlying retention.
  2. When benchmarking retention against peers, first segment by ACV.
  3. There is a positive linear relationship between ACV and retention.

Full report is available here.
