Why You Should Share Your Stories

I love it when people who have been through hell walk out of the flames carrying buckets of water for those still being consumed by the fire.
Those stories inspire me. Those stories change me. Those people are badass.
Life is a story. You are telling your stories non-verbally all day long. They seep of out you. You can’t help it.
I’ve been in the fire and have learned how to find my way out. I tell these stories in writing, also in person at retreats and workshops. But I mainly tell my stories in paintings.
The lessons of my pain can help others to heal. And it helps me to see value in what I went through.
Life is hard — not because you are doing it wrong. Because life is just plain hard. Some of these wild journeys are awful, but there really wasn’t any other way to get to where we need to be.
WHEN NOT TO TELL YOUR STORY
What does it look like to be unhealed? What does that even mean, right?
