New Beginnings

Life changes, things don’t stay the same…

I’ve always related to Casey Veggies’ superb Customized Greatly 3-cut, “Nobody” on a very personal level. The concept of reaching success (or at least trying to) while overcoming life’s constant trials and tribulations is perfectly depicted by Casey’s candid and straightforward rhymes over a mesmerizing Krys$hun-produced instrumental. The simple one-liner hook has been hitting home a lot lately. At one point in my life I hated being forced upon new experiences and would do anything to procrastinate change in my life until I realized that change is indeed inevitable and must be handled head-on. 2013 was full of new beginnings for me. New home, new acquaintances, new jobs, but most importantly — a new mindset. I recently turned 19 and realized that I’m in the best position to accomplish any goal I set for myself. With that being said, I made a list of everything I want to achieve and have started working on them one day at a time. This blog serves both as another goal crossed off the list and a testament to making the rest reality.

This is a new beginning for me. It comes with a handful of risks and sacrifices that I willingly will exchange for what I believe is taking a step in the right direction towards success. Although I’ve set a solid foundation for PedroGnlz.com by working and making connects for almost three years, it still feels like I’m starting from scratch. But with a mixture of doubt and excitement I go forward. I used to struggle with feelings of hesitation that this might not be the right move, but as this day has been getting nearer, those thoughts have become nonexistent. It’s exhilarating to contemplate on all the positive changes that are about to occur in my life. The work ethic and focus simply has to be on point every single day from now on.

I get attached to everything I start and resort to action when it’s time to win, cause I don’t wanna end

Family, friends and relationships all play a huge factor in obtaining whatever one’s definition of success is and “Nobody” properly addresses all of them alongside the time and effort put into the hustle. I personally, am extremely grateful that my tight circle of homies share a similar vision of success and I want to thank every single person who has shown support throughout all my endeavors. After years of trying to put off the future, I’m finally excited to begin a new era and even more thrilled to share it with you all!

In life, you just gotta find your way…
