Peercoin v0.7.3 was released today and featured two minor changes/updates
Add a New Hardened Checkpoint
Disconnect Old Nodes
Previously, some users reported unintentional DDOSing from old, pre-fork nodes who continually ask for new blocks/updates. In order to protect new nodes from this, the banscore for old nodes was elevated so that they would be removed. This means that any node making harmful requests, e.g. DDOS style spamming, will be blacklisted from the network.
