Harvard, MIT, Stanford Endowments Invest in Crypto

According to a recent report, the endowments of Harvard University, Stanford University, Dartmouth College, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of North Carolina have made investments into at least one cryptocurrency fund.

Since the beginning, Peerfin focused on educating and creating awareness about blockchain and cryptocurrency in colleges and university endowment fund managers. While it was tough for many of them to understand the value of blockchain and use of cryptocurrencies for payment, some were interested in understanding the opportunity, and few joined the bandwagon.

We believe that the above investment news is overall good for the blockchain and the market. We also think that colleges based in South East Asia and Europe will start accepting cryptocurrency as a mode of payment for college fees in coming years.
