A satisfied customer has a good chance of coming back and making a new purchase or requesting a service again. This is a well-known — and proven — statement by everyone. In the virtual world is not different, but the real big question is: how to satisfy internet users? When developing any project you need to focus on the user experience (UX).

While navigating on the internet, the user needs to feel attracted and secure, and also recognize a pleasant environment and content of easy understanding. He wants to be well attended and find what he is looking for efficiently and easily. Also, if he needs to clarify any doubts, there’s a direct channel of communication with your company.

It seems pretty simple, but it is not. Not always sites, systems and apps, among other channels, meet the need of their audience — bringing a bad user experience. And that’s what makes people seek another alternative to get what they’re looking for.

How to decipher the user experience? There is no ready-made recipe, but there are a few mechanisms and techniques that can provide navigation to attract customers and retain current ones:

1. Enchantment

The first impression remains. Aesthetics is important to attract the attention of the user. The interface needs to communicate a bit of what his experience will look like when getting involved with the brand.

2. Usability

Along with aesthetics comes the concern with functionality. It’s not enough to be nice and attractive, you have to be functional. The user must be able to navigate easily and efficiently, making the experience satisfactory.

3. Organization

Have you ever heard of information architecture? This is where it enters to organize information according to its importance. This way, the user's attention is directed to the right places on the page and the result is what everyone expects: conversions!

4. Interaction

Interaction flows are the ways that help users to locate themselves within the channel. It’s like a map of all the steps you have taken until you reach the end: the purchase.

5. Content

It’s useless to have an amazing layout and architecture if the content it’s terrible. The user wants relevant subjects related to what he’s looking for. The idea is to have texts with practical instructions and useful information that help to enrich the experience even more.

In order to have a successful user experience, it’s necessary to delight, win, and satisfy your customers, since it directly influences the buying decisions and the relationship between brand and customers.
