A new way to earn cashback with friends

After weeks of hard work, we are proud to announce the public release of our latest feature Party Cash.

When we first built Pei, we set out to do cashback the right way. A simple, easy to use application that creates new ways for people to save more money on everyday purchases.

Today, Pei provides cashback on thousands of transactions daily, with over 10,000 cities across the US at over 120,000 supported retailers. All thanks to the support of our users.

With the release of Party Cash, we are creating an entirely new and fun way for people to get together and save more on purchases.

Get together with friends, start a party on Party Cash and watch your cashback rewards multiply.

How it Works

The Pei Party Cash feature gives users the ability to join with one or more of their Pei friends to receive a cash back bonus by each making a purchase at the same merchant location within 60 minutes of each other.

The feature is designed to amplify savings and bring more ways to engage and enjoy cashback from your favorite places with your favorite people..

Feature Parameters

Minimum members per party: 2
Per member cash back bonus percentage: 1%
Maximum %: 4
Maximum minutes for members to accept party invitations: 60
Maximum members per party: unlimited

Start A Party

A user (host) can start a party for a specified merchant location and invite friends to the party.
The party friends must be Pei friends (on their friends list in the Pei app)
The friend must accept the party invitation within 60 minutes and MUST be at the location (GPS enabled in app) to accept the invitation.
There is no limit to the number of friends that can accept and attend a party.
The party members are the host and all the friends that accepted the invitation in time.

Bonus Calculation

Each party member must make a purchase for the bonus to apply.
The bonus is calculated by multiplying the number of party members with valid transactions times the per member bonus amount (1%)
Unlimited users can attend a party but only a max of 4 will be used to calculate the bonus.
Example: 4 party members X 1% = 4% party bonus each
Example: 2 party members X 1% = 2% party bonus each
Example: 6 party members X 4% = 4% party bonus each
The full cash back amount to be awarded to each party member is the cash back value for the merchant plus the party cash bonus.
For example: if the cash back percentage for Jo’s Coffee is 5% and the party has 6 members, bonus = 4 x 1% = 4%. 5% + 4% = 9% full cash back percentage.
