When Sarada turned 42, she noticed a quiet but persistent change — her favorite jeans no longer fit, even though her diet hadn’t changed. She exercised, juggled work and family, and skipped the desserts she used to love. But the scale crept upward, slowly but steadily. Frustrated, she blamed herself.

Her doctor told her, “It’s hormonal.”

But that felt vague. What does that really mean?

It took time — and a little compassion — for Sarada to understand that her body wasn’t failing her. It was adapting. Shifting. Responding to deeper changes beyond her control.

What she needed wasn’t another diet. She needed answers, support, and most of all, kindness — toward her body and herself.
