Stop Anxiety ✋️
Anxiety isn’t fun but there are some ways to manage it. Here are 5 methods to overcoming anxiety.
1. Breathing
Breathing is a natural calming mechanism for the body.
Try — breathing in through the nose for 4 seconds hold for 4 seconds and exhale through your mouth repeat these steps steadily to prevent getting lightheaded.
2. Practice Mindfulness
Being in the present moment
Try — Speaking about your current surroundings out loud
3. Drink water and or/ non caffeine tea
Helps naturally lower blood pressure
Try — mint tea
4. Call a friend
Speaking to a friend can help bring you into the present moment.
5. Find a new thought to focus on
Thoughts are very powerful. Understanding the power it holds is important to navigate a state of anxiety.
Try — remembering a good time or a funny memory it can instantly change your mood.
