About the artist:
Laila Ekboir is an Argentine-born illustrator who grew up in Mexico City and California. She began to illustrate in 2011 after she moved back to her home town, Buenos Aires. She particularly enjoys drawing animals, plants and quirky people. When she’s not painting or drawing, she likes to go to the park with friends, eat good food, and dance lindy hop.
