Let there be LITE

As foretold, we now come to the place of algo fork. We will be moving to cn lite, the original aeon algorithm. It holds the odd distinction of being the only algo with an asic, but no coins.

Luckily for Pk, this means a ton of security. Cn lite isn’t currently on nicehash, and bitmain & innosilicon asics don’t offer the option. This should allow us to grow a very nice network without rented hash being able to exceed ours.

A benefit of this switch will be the expansion of mining, losing nicehash and many of the asics means that our overall nethash will drop quite a bit. This coupled with the fact that cn lite scales better for gpu & cpus( roughly 2x for asic, 3x for gpu, and 4x for cpu) means more people will be able to mine.

The lite philosophy isn’t only present there, the wallet has been rebased to the original wallet, and themed in an easy & friendly manner. The network security also means I can drop some “protection” against 51s that will allow for a faster/smoother network. Both the wallet and daemon have been rebased to upstream and everything is running more stable.

I will have test clients for testnet up by Monday the 4th, and as long as tests are successful, the fork will occur by end of month.
