Dedicated to all the (true) writers
There are those who succeed, while others do not; they are as talented as the first ones but less fortunate, or perhaps it’s just that luck didn’t come their way. Often, the creators of the success of the first ones are forgotten by critics and the mainstream in this world that consumes everything and forgets how things often go.
But success is not only due to talent and luck. The perseverance to continue regardless of failures, following the dream, makes the difference between light and darkness.
There are those who write for themselves, others to be read, some only for success, power, money, and sex.
There are those who ghostwrite so that the most famous ones can succeed, those who write and then leave everything in the drawer, and those who write trivial things and yet get read.
Bukowski says, “If it doesn’t come bursting out of you in spite of everything, don’t do it. Unless it comes unasked out of your heart and your mind and your mouth and your gut, don’t do it… if you have to wait for it to roar out of you, then wait patiently.”
So write what is coming from your heart and your mind and your mouth and your gut, don’t wait to do it.
Writing is an act of self-love and love for the world that cannot be replaced by any AI: phony imitations of human thought.
Dedicated to all the (true) writers, those who wait for the moment when the fire explodes within and makes us forget everything around us.
