Sameer: What is the Universal Law?

Guess What?

Akaash: Is there a Universal Law?

I refrain from talking about the things that I do not completely understand. It’s difficult to build a structure when you don’t know how the pieces fit together. Perhaps I don’t have enough knowledge, wisdom, information, data to derive the One Supreme Universal Law. Or do I know the universe enough to know the Universal Law? Do I need to know the universe to know the Universal Law?

Maybe it’s Karma, the concept needs no introduction. It’s a little difficult to move past it but I push my thoughts a little further, I wonder, karma… What goes around, comes around. You reap what you sow. Tit for tat. A cycle. Everything that has a beginning has an end. Energy is neither created nor destroyed, it only transforms from one form to another. Life and death. Time consumes all. Maybe we’re nothing but energy flowing through time. Might as well be positive energy. Again leading back to Karma to close the chain of thoughts.

So in a way, we’re traveling round and round because that’s how the world moves. And the energy we leave behind in time comes back to us later when we pass it the next time we come around to it. And maybe that’s how it works… Who knows?

Maybe change is the only constant, and that’s the Universal Law. Reminds me of something I read somewhere, that the problem with the world is that the fools are always cocksure and the wise full doubt.
