Donate to the We ❤️ MCR Emergency Fund with your people.io credits

If you’re a people.io user, we’ve added an option that allows you to donate your credits to the We ❤️ MCR Emergency Relief fund. Just open the app and tap ‘Redeem Credits’ then select one of the donation options.

Everyone at people.io has been hugely affected by the horrible events in Manchester earlier this week. On a personal note, as a proud Mancunian who lives and works near the city and has been to the arena countless times over the years I would like to thank you for your interest in supporting the We ❤️ MCR fund.

The attack has taken the lives of 22 people, including teenagers and children, and injured many more. The British Red Cross has organised a fundraising appeal, in order to financially aid those who have been affected by the attack, and make sure that none of the victims finds themselves in financial hardship.

Today, I’m proud to say that people.io has decided to join in the fundraising effort. For the next 24 hours, you will be able to exchange your credits for a donation to the We ❤️ MCR fund. To do that, you need to go to the ‘Redeem Credits’ tab in your people.io app, find the We ❤️ MCR Emergency Fund donation option, then click ‘Redeem’.

We will sum up all of the donations made by the people.io users, and pass them on to the We ❤️ MCR Emergency Fund at the end of the week. We will also keep you posted on how much people.io users have donated to the cause.

You can also help by telling your friends on Twitter. Our low donation option means that they will be able to earn enough credits today to donate to the We ❤️ MCR Emergency fund.
