Nobody knows where Bitcoin will end up eventually — as a bust or the true new virtual currency that transformed the world or anywhere in between. It’s anybody’s guess right now.

What most people forget is the technology that built Bitcoin — -the blockchain has become a serious force to be reckoned with. We’re seeing usage in every vertical from law to finance to medicine.

But low and behold — the blockchain will also come to power the CRE Real Estate transactions of the near future. Yes Virginia, the bullshit will finally stop. It’s a matter of if and not when this transformation occurs. For instance, people will no longer need the services of a title company since every real estate transaction will be a matter of record on the blockchain. And folks, that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Dheeraji Sinha has composed what I consider the best article on this very subject Application of the Blockchain in the Real Estate Industry. which appeared on Duke Long’s blog

Spend 10 to 15 minutes to really read what Dheeraji has put forth including the detailed diagrams. I’ll tell you — it’s an eye opening experience for all of us in the industry.

Kudos to Duke Long for keeping us updated on this important trend.

I’d also recommend that you sign up for Duke’s Blog. In my opinion — the best in our industry. The man speaks his mind on what needs to fixed in our industry — -loud and clear
