A green revolution is quietly taking place while the crypto and blockchain market is distracted with choppy action and a range bound motion resembling the “ickey shuffle”. A great croak has been belched and some of Crypto Twitters favorite characters came together to take back the destiny of a PEPE meme and put a fantastic collection of art on the blockchain. Utilizing an open sourced Ethereum smart contract; Nondualrandy, Coinyeezy and Drawz mounted the faithful stead of a Paper Unicorn to build what is quickly becoming a hot topic in all that is the crypto sphere. Pepedapp.com

On May 17, 2018 Pepedapp was launched with just a single card, The Book Of Pepe available to participants of their beta test and members of their exclusive telegram group. This book is an actual religious text available through the PepeDapp Blog. Like CryptoKitties, the idea caught fire and has had incredible success with bogging the Ethereum network down with high transaction volumes. These works of art and playing cards have come to feature some of the crypto spaces favorite players including Andreas Antonopoulos, John Mcafee, and Vitalik Buterin. In fact, it is rumored that Mcafee is secretly buying up all the cards featuring himself to corner the market before he goes public with his support. Some unknown buyer is believed to have purchased around 300 of the 666 “Frog Mcafee” cards in existence.

Then you have the rarest of PepeDapp cards. The “Satoshi Nakamoto” card.

Only 22 of these slick pieces ever made and it is rumored one or two are already lost forever. Currently selling for 19.87 ETH at the writing of this article. Of the 3,674 cards currently in existence, the rarest are the Satoshi card, The Vitalik Card and one depicting good ole Roger Ver. Prices are still finding support and resistance levels as everything is still so new. 1,111 of the cards in existence are “rare bacon” which were dispersed in crypto’s first ever “RareDrop” to participants. At nearly 1/3 the supply of all rare pepedapp cards in existing these are cheap currently at .033 ETH each. However, as the demand grows in parabolic fashion each day we can expect this thrift won’t last.

Fast forward to today May, 26th. Pepedapp released 777 “Frogdanoff” cards at an intial price of .01 ETH each. This on the heels of a massive insurgence of “Bogged” twitter avi’s flooding into the market. For those who are unaware. Bogdanovs are considered market makers in the bitcoin market and hilarious youtube videos of their crushing grip on the market have us all reeling with BUR. As the release of the cards was publicized the onslaught of ravenous buyers came through like a tsunami and within 1 hour the initial 777 were purchased and began trading for as high as .1 ETH before reverting to the mean.

I think it’s safe to say that as the knowledge of this niche market grows so to will the investments made in Rare Pepe cards on the immutable blockchain. In my opinion it won’t be long until major outlets are hailing PepeDapp as Ethereums’ killer app. In a space that is so hungry for meme and so thirsting for fun, the dominant commandeering of what was once considered a symbol of racism has us all very happy and excited for the strength of our community.
