Twice a year we schedule a special day to review our progress, discuss and plan goals, and have FUN. It’s our biannual Company Day and it is one of the days we look forward to most at Perceivant. This year we took the team to Dave & Buster’s for our team meeting, tasty treats, and little healthy competition!

As a company that focuses on well-being education, we strive to make sure that occupational well-being is a positive highlight of our workplace culture. Part of that is the opportunity to communicate our goals as team and make sure that no matter what role each employee plays, we are on the same page and working toward the same collective goal. Discussing our progress and goals regularly helps to keep us right on target.

Another important element of occupational well-being is that the workplace is not just a job, but a place that employees enjoy coming to each day. We should enjoy our work environment and team. This is why we like to make time for fun, as well as the opportunity to have fun outside of the office. This Dave & Buster’s trip was a great chance to take our work to a new, fun environment and have fun together. We started with a meeting to discuss and set priorities, then enjoyed a delicious lunch to fuel us up to play. The next few hours were dedicated to games, games, drinks, and games!

At the end of the day we pooled our earned tickets together to buy something the whole staff could enjoy… a relaxing hammock for the office. Check out photos from this year’s excursions.
