Perception and are career have a much larger scope than people think. If people perceive you as an amateur or professional. Perception lies on how you act and carry yourself in any profession. To determine how to carry and act people must look to experts in their field they wish to excel in. Having a mentor even if they do not talk to you in person is a start. To pick someone who is successful in a sector you wish to be successful in is a start. Research their struggles and how they overcame such task. Using the same tactics, you can become closer to that goal. The perception one gives someone when you walk into a room or the answers you give to people. Perception is the key to people believe you are the real deal or a fake. In order to rise through the levels in a company perception must be in effect in a positive way. The upper level management must believe whom ever they are promoting is up to the task and responsibilities of the given promotion. To understand the next level of task and how to become successful in something that person is passionate in. The first step is increasing knowledge on the profession that the individual wants to achieve in. Realizing the ins and outs of the profession along with the ups and downs that come along with the job or hobby. I believe perception has taken a back seat in the views of people in forwarding careers. I think this is a huge mistake. If you don’t know something well act like you do, then figure it out later. Opportunities don’t come when people are looking for them rather when people are in high stress situations. Believing we can’t achieve is not a option. The feel we give others when their around is called perception
