In its listing seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst for client HTC Global/Berkshire Hathaway, Virginia-based IT services firm Arthur Grand (Wizard?) Technologies — whose services include human capital consulting and temporary staffing augmentation — internally specified only White candidates be considered.
Local within 60 miles from the location (Dallas, TX)? Understandable.
US-born? Given current laws governing visas and employer sponsorship… understandable (explainable, not justifiable, as these xenophobic policies are rooted in antiglobalist nativism and exceptionalist protectionism).
White? Hold the mayo.
Immediate backlash begat instant backpedaling.
