Tyrone claimed a fifth All-Ireland U21 title by overcoming a talented Tipperary side by 1–11 v 0–13. The team used Performa Sports extensively through the season to improve player learning, match preparation and live game decision making for marginal gains. Under the experienced management of Feargal Logan, Peter Canavan and Brian Dooher the O’Neill county finished strongly to end a 14-year wait.
