Hello and welcome to the first post of our new Performance@Intel blog. This is intended to be a destination for the technical community to get the latest information and opinions direct from Intel experts. We will cover the topics that matter most to the performance of our products and the experience provided to our customers.

We’ll cover a number of areas here including:

  • Performance analysis, both versus ourselves and our competition
  • Sharing best practices on the methodologies we use (how and why) to profile and analyze our own products
  • Providing context on new features and the experiences they enable
  • Education and awareness for key areas like software optimization and security
  • Deep dives into use cases for our products like gaming, content creation, and AI
For the next 20 years it will be defined by architecture, workload and implementation

This blog is not intended to be the be-all and end-all resource on our products and their performance. We realize everyone evaluates performance differently. What it’s really about is getting relevant information to you quickly, without a lot of fluff, and with an Intel point of view. We want to help you understand our approach in these areas and why we make the decisions we do.

The intent is for this blog to be a two-way street. We provide our opinion and listen to yours in return. We think ongoing communication is key to better understanding each other, even if we don’t always agree 🙂. So please provide your questions, comments, and suggestions and we’re going to do our best to answer them and bring your ideas to future posts. Look for our next post this week from IFA.
