In our current society which can be deemed in simple terms as ‘woke,’ certain derogatory, sexist, and even racist comments or actions cannot simply be ignored and discarded.
Some suggest that our society is too bent on every utterance, action, or sign of disrespect that it may throw things way out of proportion.
Below are sexist ads you won’t believe existed in the 1940s to the 1970s.
However, recently some of these ads were recreated by Eli Rezkallah; a 31-year-old artist/photographer in a photo series called ‘In a Parallel Universe’ to display a reverse in the gender roles.
