Perlin co-hosted an event with the Singapore-based Innovation Cybersecurity Ecosystem (ICE71) on the topic of:

HOW CYBERSECURITY & BLOCKCHAIN WILL BE USED TO STOP HACKERS, COUNTERFEITING & PIRACY.

ICE71 is the SE Asia region’s first cybersecurity entrepreneur hub. It is a partnership between Singtel Innov8, the venture capital arm of the Singtel Group, and the National University of Singapore (NUS), through its entrepreneurial arm NUS Enterprise, and is supported by the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) and Info-Communications Media Development Authority (IMDA)

Some strong opposing views on blockchain from the crowd and panel added to the energetic discussion.

There was lively audience participation as diverse views on blockchain and cybersecurity were expressed by the panel, which included: Dorjee (Perlin CEO), Kenta (Perlin CTO), Kenrick Drijkoningen (founding partner of LuneX Ventures, a blockchain fund by Golden Gate Ventures), Andrew Duck (CEO of Aversafe — a blockchain-backed credential issuance and verification platform), Linda Nguyen Schindler (Programme Head of ICE71).

It was a great opportunity for the Perlin team to connect with the leading cybersecurity community and ecosystem in Singapore.
