The Best Episode of Buffy: The Vampire Slayer

It’s not just singing and dancing.

YouTube informed me that Hinton Battle died in January 2024. That was very sad news to hear. I only saw Hinton Battle in one show, and he stole my heart.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer is a hard show to rewatch in the light of Joss Whedon being awful, and knowing how the female actresses on the shows suffered. Still, I remember watching reruns in college long after the show had aired. And as someone who loves musicals, the musical episode still makes me very wistful. Hinton Battle stole the show in it.
