Perp88 Referral Program: The Most Generous Fee Discount for Friends & Rebates in USDC for You
Referral program is one of the most effective strategies to help a new product grow its user base and increase the adoption.
Like most other exchanges, Perp88 also have a referral program. However, our referral program is one of the most, if not the most, generous program for both the referrers and the code users available in the crypto space.
Perp88 referral program can be separated into two parts for different activities:
- Referral Program for Leveraged Traders
- Referral Program for PLP Depositors
Referral Program for Traders
The Referral Program for Traders apply rebates and discounts on the opening and closing fees for leveraged trading. Below, we highlight the different tiers of the program and their benefits:
Tier 1:

- 25% rebates to the referrer paid in USDC
🔐 Requirement: No Requirement to be in Tier 1
Tier 2:

- 10% discount on trading fees for traders paid in USDC
- 30% rebates to the referrer paid in USDC
🔐 Requirement: 10 active users, combined $1M in weekly volume from the referees
Tier 3:
💰 Benefits:
- 12.5% discount on trading fees for traders paid in USDC
- 40% rebates to the referrer paid in USDC
🔐 Requirement: 20 active users, combined $2.5M in weekly volume from the referees
Please note that the rebates for the referrer are calculated on the trading fees generated by the referees BEFORE the discount. The discounts and rebates are distributed to the program participants on a weekly basis every Wednesday.
Please also note that an active trader is defined as a unique wallet address that has at least 1 successful trading transaction within that week.
Perp88’s Referral Program vs. Competitors
When compared with other programs in the market, Perp88’s referral program emerges as the clear leader in terms of value back to the program participants.
Base Tier Comparison:
In this comparison, we select the most basic tier of each exchange’s referral program and draw comparisons between them.
In terms of discount provided to the referees, Perp88, along with Binance, offer the biggest discount at 10%. However, Binance’s 10% discount only applies for the first month after account activation while Perp88’s discount applies through out the users’ lifetime.
In terms of rebates back to the referrers, Perp88 also comes in first place at 25%. However, as rebates for the referrer are calculated on the trading fees generated by the referees BEFORE the discount, referrers at Perp88 can ensure that they receive the full share of their referral fees.
All in all, Perp88 provides the biggest value back to its referral program participants at 35% of trading fee revenue.
Perp88’s Tier 3 Equivalent Comparison
In this comparison, we look at each exchange’s referral tier closest to Perp88’s Tier 3. Note that we follow the rules below to select the tier to compare from each exchange:
- We first match the tier with a similar trading volume requirement with Perp88’s Tier 3
- If there’s no trading volume requirement, we look at the tier with a similar discount & rebates and select that tier to make the comparison
In terms of discount provided to the referees, Perp88 is the clear leader and provides the biggest discount at 12.5%, while Binance and GMX follow in second place at 10% discount.
In terms of rebates back to the referrers, Perp88 also comes in first place at 40%, which is tied with dYdX and. Perpetual Protocol. However, when looking at the requirement to be in each exchange’s respective tier, it is clear that Perp88 places the least stringent requirement. To receive 40% on rebates from dYdX, you will need to stake at least 500K DYDX (~$680K). While Perpetual Protocol has less stringent requirement than the other two, it still requires you to stake at least 2K PERP (~$1,180) and that you remain an exclusive promoter of Perpetual Protocol and not other DEXes!
All in all, Perp88 again emerges triumphant in this comparison, as it provides the biggest value back to its referral program participants at 52% of trading fee revenue!
Referral Program for Depositors
The Referral Program for Traders applies rebates and discounts on the Opening and Closing Fees for leveraged trading. Below, we highlight the different tiers of the program and their benefits:

- 10% rebates to the referrer paid in USDC
