It’s been almost a year since PERPLAY was introduced to the world through a Private Test on August 16, 2023.
The PERPLAY Team has worked hard and done its best up to this point. However, we acknowledge that there have been many shortcomings, and on behalf of the PERPLAY Team, I sincerely apologize to all the Holders.
PERPLAY began during the so-called ‘crypto winter,’ a challenging time. The members of the PERPLAY Team united, focusing solely on the project’s immense potential, and overcame numerous obstacles and challenges to reach where we are today.
Now, PERPLAY is committed to actively expanding its ecosystem and realizing its potential step by step. We extend our deepest gratitude to all the Holders who have stood with the PERPLAY Team and have been the solid foundation of our sustainable growth model. PERPLAY’s first multi-chain will be changed from zkSync to Arbitrum.
At the end of May, during the 7th Holder Meeting, we revealed our ‘Global Ecosystem Expansion and CEX Listing Plan.’
As part of this plan, the team announced our EVM multi-chain policy, initially selecting ‘zkSync’ and quickly preparing for onboarding. Additionally, we issued ‘$zkPER’ and pushed for its listing on overseas CEX exchanges, continuously updating and communicating additional requested information from the exchanges.
Throughout this process, we actively pursued collaboration plans with ‘zkSync.’ However, following a negative issue with ‘zkSync’ in mid-June, the PERPLAY Team reevaluated the synergy of adopting the ‘zkSync’ chain from various angles and simultaneously reviewed our multi-chain expansion business plan comprehensively.
Ultimately, we concluded that the current situation with ‘zkSync’ does not meet PERPLAY’s ecosystem expansion expectations, and we decided to adapt more flexibly to the global Web3 market conditions.
Therefore, the PERPLAY Team has decided to change our first multi-chain expansion from ‘zkSync’ to ‘Arbitrum.’
✅ Introduction to the Arbitrum Chain
‘Arbitrum’, a leading global mainnet, has long held the top position in TVL on Ethereum Layer 2. The ARB coin is listed on major domestic and international exchanges, providing a rich user base and liquidity.
It offers perfect EVM compatibility and high scalability, with fast transaction processing speeds suitable for real-time DApps and the ability to onboard various categories of DApps.
Additionally, it operates gaming platforms like ‘XAI’ and ‘TreasureDAO,’ making it friendly to the gaming ecosystem.
We are currently in active communication with ‘Arbitrum’ regarding mutual cooperation plans and will announce the final agreement soon.
Arbitrum’s market capitalization is 3,379B, approximately four times that of zkSync, with trading volume also about three times higher.
Arbitrum hosts over 560 DApps, including 77 in the Game category, providing a more game-friendly environment.
Although the number of active wallets is lower compared to zkSync, the total transactions reach 1.1B, indicating a significantly larger organic Web3 user base.
Moreover, zkSync has yet to support USDT deposits and withdrawals on exchanges, whereas Arbitrum does support USDT deposits and withdrawals and is listed on major exchanges.
Ultimately, we believe that Arbitrum is an important partner for ensuring ease of entry for PERPLAY users and for expanding the ecosystem with a focus on games.

Following the adoption of the Arbitrum chain, we are establishing an internal plan for large-scale Web3 user acquisition and are discussing various collaboration opportunities with Arbitrum.

Here is the announcement for the upcoming changes to the Special Box acquisition system.
🎁 Announcement : Upcoming Changes to the Special Box Acquisition System
We are preparing to update the Special Box acquisition system to improve user experience and convenience. Currently, the system is based on the following structure:
1. Special Boxes are obtained after playing the game for at least 10 minutes.
2. If the game experiences interruptions during gameplay, Special Boxes cannot be obtained.
Recently, we have improved the system to allow Special Boxes to be acquired even if interruptions occur, provided that the remaining campaign power is consumed. However, we are making further enhancements for better usability. The new system changes are as follows:
1️⃣ The power used during gameplay will be stored in Power Storage after the game ends.
2️⃣ Stored power can be used in increments of 10 Power per attempt, and using stored power will allow you to acquire Special Boxes.
3️⃣ The probability and level of the Special Boxes obtained will continue to be determined based on the NFT LUCK stat, as before.
4️⃣ Acquired Special Boxes can be viewed on the App lobby screen (same as before).
With this new structure, we expect to address the inconvenience of not receiving Special Boxes due to gameplay interruptions. We will provide advance notice before implementing these changes in the app.
