Week 3: Forever Man — Eric Clapton

For week three, I covered Eric Clapton’s guitar solo from Forever Man. It’s a great song with a killer short solo. It was released in 1985 (I was less than a year old) on the album Behind the Sun and is in D Minor. I got fairly close to nailing down the tone.

The music video is kind of peak 80’s rock with Clapton wearing a trenchcoat on a stage that’s also a movie set with the cameras swinging all over the place and seemingly filming everything in the room except for Clapton.
