In the first of our series of process flows, we ask @Valentine E. Onah to give us a walkthrough on how he created the Identity for DeepRoche.

The brief requested for an identity that should represent several businesses simultaneously and effectively.

While discussing the project with the client, i was able to arrive at a direction for the creative when some values for which the brand anchors on was shared.

‘Excellence, and a strong relationship with the customer’

I figured that for the brand to have such a relationship, they would have to be sensitive to the customers and users.

Thought process for the logo started with a letter based logo design, and then abstract landscapes, before animals.

After researching several animals and inanimate objects; their characteristics and nature. I eventually settled to make it based on an animal so that the logo could have a story that communicates the brand’s drive, especially after reading about the Deer.
