The Nollywood Spoof is upon us again.
We took a break and now we’re back with The Nollywood Spoof. Yippeee! And this year, the winner of Nollywood Spoof Competition 2016 will be walking away with a cash prize of N100,000 Naira. Cool right?! [Here fits a perfect placement of a recession joke]
So what’s Nollywood Spoof 2016 going to be about?
Nollywood Spoof 2016: Resurgence (not to be confused with this guy) is pretty much a journey back in time to the fun days when Nollywood was a lot younger and more focused on producing art. Think of the times of Domitila, Nneka — The Pretty Serpent, Silent Night and a host of others. We’re pushing the nostalgia button hard on the spines of lovers of movies and creative creations, old and new.
Creative designers are welcome to contest in Nollywood Spoof 2016: Resurgence by capturing graphically and humorously, classic movies from the past which you are most or least fond of. You will be making such graphic portrayal into movie posters and you are welcome to spoof Nollywood movies into foreign classic movies or foreign talents into classic Nollywood titles.

— Reimagine it and spoof it. Sprinkle creativity and humour all over it.
— Submit to us via DM.

Submission and Voting
- Follow our Nollywood SpoofBot on Instagram
- Get your design done and submit to us via DM on Instagram
- We’ll upload your design and you invite your friends and fam to vote.
- Submissions & Voting begin 20th October, 2016 and will run for 2 weeks.
Guidelines
- Be sure to have your name/logo as well as the Nollywood Spoof Logo & the Soda and Popcorn logo on your design.
- Set your design to 1200px (W) by 1200px (H)
- No nudes. Really. You could be suggestive but no outright nudes.
- Be creative. Be original. Be humorous.
The Nollywood Spoof is an annual contest that showcases a collection of parody & spoof designs done by amazing designers all-over Nigeria (and the world), making light jokes at Nollywood movies and its famous celebs.
