Persona — 20th May Update

For everyone out there curious about the project’s ongoing status, here is a brief update on the latest news on Persona:

Identity Wallet

There is still ongoing work on developing the core Persona identity management functionalities on top of v2 by implementing the Create Attribute, the Update Attribute and the Create Attribute Validation Request transaction types. Also, 51 tests have already been migrated from a total of 541 tests residing on v1!

For next week, we plan on expanding the management lifecycle of the Attribute Validation Request by including request models for several aspects like notarization, approval, declining, rejection and cancelation of validation.

Mainnet migration to ARK V2

With the help and support of the community, on May 12nd we have successfully migrated to Ark V 2.3. 36 hours after the migration there were 48 delegates that migrated to the new code base. The new code base is a plus not only on security but also on the functionality, because now, new attributes can be added as plugins, they can be developed by the community and made available to anyone, without requiring a fork of the blockchain.
