There’s more to your familiar self. Most people are only living a fraction of themselves.They settle for default routines, dim their inner light, and allow their fear and doubt to clip their wings.

The greatest gift you can offer yourself and the world is your complete awakening or self-transformation. It’s a process. It takes time. But your best life depends on it. It’s a gift built on courage, on the willingness to confront the shadows within and let them dissolve in the light of self-awareness.

Lao Tzu, the first philosopher of Chinese Daoism and author of the Tao Te Ching, thought awakening your complete self is your best gift to the world. It’s also the best thing that can ever happen to you.

He said, “If you want to awaken all of humanity, then awaken all of yourself, if you want to eliminate the suffering in the world, then eliminate all that is negative in yourself. Truly, the greatest gift you have to give is that of your own self-transformation.”

Self-awakening changes everything — your beliefs, perceptions about life, what you expect of yourself and your reaction to the world.
