Living Through Your Passion

I’m so proud to be one of those obnoxious people that actually enjoys his job. In fact, I don’t even have a job. I have a passion and chase it everyday. Been chasing it everyday for the past thirteen years believe it or not.

My passion is probably different than your passion…and that’s fine. The point is….don’t sweat the details. Just know that a passion chaser enjoys a much better quality of life than everyone else. Your passion may be benevolent. Maybe its materialistic. Maybe it doesn’t fit anywhere other than your beautiful mind. The truth is that your passion doesn’t have to fit a stereotype. And here’s the better news: your passion only has to satisfy one person. Just you and no one else. Sure, they’ll be detractors. They’ll be people who think your passion is silly, or maybe way too different. But that’s fine because your passion only has to make YOU happy.

When you stumble onto that blood-pumping passion, you’ll know it. You’ll know it because your entire life will change once you begin the chase. If you’re like me, you’ll get goose bumps every time you think about the chase. Seriously, you’ll literally get goose bumps because you’re that freaking excited about your job, your work, your devotion…your passion.

Now, finding your passion is a whole other story. It’s not easy to find it because we’re not really wired to think about ourselves. We want to make other people happy and discovering your passion is a pretty darn selfish exercise. But it’s absolutely worth it because the rest of your life can be so much different.

I’m building a nationwide brand of residential cleaning services and loving it. Literally loving it. My mother thought I was crazy thirteen years ago. My wife still thinks I’m crazy. And so many people from bloggers to twitter followers think my passion is ridiculous. That’s what’s so great about living through your passion. It doesn’t have to make sense to anyone but you. You can make sense of it though. I know you can.

Not everyone wants to start a cleaning company. Not everyone wants to even build a business. Who cares? This isn’t about everyone. This is about you.

I beg you to find your passion and then start living through it. The rest of your life depends on it.
