Have you ever slowed down long enough to notice those behind the scenes, quietly contributing for the benefit of all?

Most of the time we’re too busy.

Too wrapped up in our schedules, goals, ambitions, and daily commitments to detect the unseen souls who humbly serve in the shadows of others.

We take for granted the performances, amenities, and finer things in life, often unaware of the players behind the curtain. They are like kurogo, the inconspicuous Japanese kabuki theater assistants dressed in black, who move props and assist with costume and set changes. The audience does not see them, because they are not the stars of the show.

But without them, there would be no show.

It is happiness because we see joy in people
