What does it take to have a good life?

It’s a question that can be answered in so many ways.

Socrates thought people with self-knowledge are more likely to find true happiness. “The secret of happiness, you see is not found in seeking more, but in developing the capacity to enjoy less,” he once said.

Aristotle argued that the good life is a happy life. “Happiness is the meaning and the purpose of life, the whole aim and end of human existence,” he said.

Epicurus observed that the key to a good life is avoiding pain, abstaining from unnecessary desires and being grateful for what you have in life.

“Be moderate in order to taste the joys of life in abundance,” he once said.

There are more books, essays and resources on living a good life but today, many people than ever are dissatisfied with their lives.

Either the tools out there are not making the right impact on them, or they are not taking action on what they learn.

The keys to a good life are different for everyone. But you are the primary key.
