“These are crazy times” is an understatement. I came across one of the most important quotes I needed to hear in these difficult times. Uncertainty has peaked. But it could get worse. The good news is, that’s not a tragedy.
John Wooden, former head coach for the UCLA Bruins wisely said, “Things turn out best for the people who make the best of the way things turn out.” Wooden won ten NCAA championships over a 12-year period. He knew what it meant to go through what you are going through.
And make the best of it.
His quote is active. It tells you to do something — make the best of what is. And in a world where things are spiralling left, right, and centre, that kind of mindset is more than relevant — it’s survival.
Your job in life isn’t to control everything.
