I know, work days can be hard to plan and prioritize. And you probably already have to-do lists of some kind.

Prioritization means you focus on what’s important and you stick to it. It means you need to take time to think about what is important, so you don’t just react on things that are coming at your desk.

This is how you can prioritize your time and focus on important tasks.

Step 1. Identify important tasks
Ask yourself this:

• What are the 3 most important things I want to have accomplished before the day ends?

Step 2. Prioritize
• In what order do I complete these tasks?
• Do I start with the easiest tasks first or the most difficult?

Learn what works best for you!

Piece of advice
Write your 3 most important tasks on a small piece of paper. Put it in your pocket and keep it during the day.

If you notice that you are wandering away during the day, take up your paper and remind yourself to finish the important tasks.

Let’s do it.
Start prioritizing your day now. Sit down and follow the 2 steps. Make sure to evaluate after your day; “Did I accomplish the 3 most important tasks?”

Stay in the loop,
