Don’t underestimate CrowdTangle
We have been using Facebook’s news publisher tool called CrowdTangle for a few months now. We’ll be honest, we still find it confusing to use but it has been a valuable asset to our viewing figures lately.
Often we are underestimated too, considering we are one of the main news sources in the Tayside region, in particular Perth & Kinross. We picked up on a story using CrowdTangle a few days ago, a local Newspaper, The Courier had recently posted some news regarding Anastacia coming to Perth to support Lionel Richies’ gig.
Obliviously, our news inbox wasn’t sent any information on the latest developments and thanks to CrowdTangle, it alerted us to The Courier’s viral piece. We immediately decided to share the news and it actually performed better, according to CrowdTangle’s statistics.
What helps?

Creating a dedicated Facebook Group, and we called ours Enjoying Perthshire and already 250 members have joined the group.
